Licensed Indication: Essential hypertension where blood pressure is not adequately controlled on perindopril alone.1
Coversyl Arginine Plus is composed of 2 antihypertensives: Perindopril + Indapamide.
Coversyl Arginine Plus is an antihypertensive which has been shown to significantly reduce blood pressure by up to 19.8/13.4 mmHg in hypertensive patients.2
Perindopril and indapamide have been investigated in landmark trials including over 30,000 patients. ASCOT3, EUROPA4 and PROGRESS5 prove their impact on reducing cardiovascular events.
Fixed dose combinations can decrease the risk of medication non-compliance by 24% for hypertensive patients compared with a free-drug component regimen.6
The use of fixed-dose combinations, such as Coversyl Arginine Plus, is in line with BHS Guidelines at step 2 or 3.7
