Servier Laboratories and the diabetes and Cardiovascular Forum of the Royal College of Nursing, developed this award in partnership. The award was up to £2000 and supported the implementation of an educational or clinical initiative that addresses both the diabetic and cardiovascular needs of a patient group.
For commercial reasons the awards programme for the coming year has been suspended and will not recommence until 2010 at the earliest. Servier apologises any inconvenience that this change has caused.
One award, the RCN Osteoporosis Awards, will continue since commitments have already been made to it. This award will be suspended, as with the others, after the first cycle.
